QLD reports a world wide record in the field of 940 nm IR diode. We have demonstrated for very high energy pump laser diode our ability to provide the State of the Art QCW diode stack.
QLD has qualified a 20 kW QCW stack at 940 nm (other wavelengths available on request), based on a 500W bar develop for very high energy application and driven by only 200A. The stack efficiency has been measured at 62% under 1 ms pulse width and 2% duty cycle. For such high energy, the stack has been cooled by water. This stack can be operated at a pulse of 5 ms, even higher.
